North Carolina's Jesse Helms, seeking a fourth term as the Senate's arch-conservative, attended a fund-raiser in Miami over the weekend where he was greeted by a man who claimed to have been a supporter for a long time. "I'm 99 and I've been behind you ever since you went to the Senate," the man told him. "My wife supports you, too, and she's 100 years old - and looks it."
