Independent filmmaker Dominic Angerame will present a screening of his films Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Utah Media Arts Center, 20 S. West Temple.

Among the films to be screened are "Deconstruction Sight," which was just finished earlier this year and already has received awards at the Ann Arbor and Humbolt film festivals; "Continuum," "Hit the Turnpike!" and "Honeymoon in Reno," plus other short works.The screening is in conjunction with the Utah Short Film and Video Festival, for which Angerame is a judge.

Angerame has been making films since 1969. He teaches at the Academy of Art College, San Francisco, and is director of Canyon Cinema, a distribution cooperative of independent filmmakers.
