Our most beloved father Antonio Tovar, 56, passed into the Kindgom of God on June 18, 1990 in Salt Lake City.
Born May 26, 1934 in Los Rodriguez GTO, Mexico to Guadalupe and Emelia Molina Tovar. Married Stella Aguilar Martinez in 1960. She died March 19, 1967. Married Edwina Garcia, 1968; later divorced. Married Viola S. Gurule, 1981; later separated. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Korean War. Founder and proprietor of La Frontera Cafe Restaurants. He no longer suffers from the pain and the terrible disease which took control of his life and ravaged his body. He will be greatly missed and remember always by family, friends and loved ones. Trujillo, all of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Javier, Avera, Peter Jr., Anthony, Antonio II, Michael, Emilia, Violita; brothers, Felipe, Pudras Negras, Mexico; Juan, Salt Lake City; sisters, Luz, Carmen, Esperanza, all from Los Rodriguez GTO, Mexico; and his special love Esther Ornales and her children, Blanca, Ernesto, Armando, Ramon, and numerous friends and relatives; step-children, John, Carol, Maxine, Delores, Sharon, Gloria, Ben, Max, Donna, Philbert, Gilbert, Patty Mae, Rosa Lee, Christopher.
Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 715 West 300 No. Vigil service with rosary will be held Friday, 7 p.m., at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 So., where friends may call Friday, 6 p.m. until time of service. Committal Mount Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street.
