Isaac Wilford Wheeler, age 80, died at his home on June 24, 1990.

He was born in Milburn, Utah on February 23, 1910 to Annie Deseret Vance and George A. Wheeler. He was married to Merinda Jensen, Manti, Utah, December 3, 1932, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She died November 25, 1987. Then he married Bernece Anderson, Manti Temple, October 18, 1988. He was a retired farmer and turkey grower. Bishop of Milburn Ward for 13 years, ordained by President Kimball. Bishops counselor in the Fairview North Ward for seven years; High Priest Group Leader, Stake Sunday School. Member of the City Council for four years. Member of Fairview Lion's Club. Member of Moroni Feed Co. Temple Ordinance worker. Served LDS Mission with his wife in Texas-Houston. Worker at the Manti Temple Visitors Center. "We will miss you".Survivors: Wife, Fairview; sons and daughters, LaVon Nelson, Earl J. Wheeler, Wilford Mont Wheeler, Georgia Jackson, Donna Black, Clifford Wheeler; brothers and sisters, Henry Wheeler, Woodrow Wheeler, Teola Nelson and Isabell Taufer; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Earl and Della Anderson, Roma McBride; five stepgrandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Wednesday, June 27, 1990 at 11 a.m. at the Fairview 2nd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Ursenbach Funeral Home, Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday, at ward chapel, one and one-half hours prior to services. Interment; Fairview Cemetery. Under direction of Ursenbach Funeral Home.
