Elizabeth Thelma Snyder Christensen, age 81, died Sunday, July 1, 1990, at her home in Bountiful, Utah.

Born April 11, 1909, in Provo, Utah, to Elvin and Elizabeth Wright Snyder. Married Jacob Christensen, July 23, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 3, 1937. He died August 21, 1980. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving as a Primary president and teacher for 18 years, a Relief Society visiting teacher for over 50 years, and on the Stake Relief Society Board for 16 years. She served a stake mission and sang with a singing mothers group. She was a member of the Davis County Fair Board for 25 years and was an election judge.She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, George Elvin and wife, Faye, Bountiful, Utah; Grant Walter and wife, Bonnie, Glendale, California; Elmo D. and wife, Carrol, Salt Lake City, Utah; David Jacob and wife, Carol, West Valley City, Utah; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Blaine Snyder, Provo, Utah; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Losee, St. George, Utah. Preceded in death by a daughter, Anine Christensen.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6th, 12 noon, Orchard 12th Ward Chapel, 3707 South 800 West, Bountiful. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the ward, one hour prior to service. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
