Janeen Jones Richardson died July 8, 1990 of a brain malignancy. She endured her illness with uncommon grace.
Janeen was born January 1, 1949 to Ellis B and Betty Marlor Jones. She graduated from Cyprus High and in 1988 received a degree from the University of Phoenix in Salt Lake City. She married Steve Thompson, divorced. Married Robert McCree, divorced.On February 17, 1989 she married William Richardson, who survives her; along with two sons, Adam and Nathan Thompson, a daughter, Rozalynd McCree and a grandson, Micca.
She is also survived by her parents, five brothers, Steve (Margaret), Lewis (Nancy), Howard (Carmen), Clint (Camille), all of Salt Lake Valley; and Brian R. Jones, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. Preceded in death by an infant sister, Miriam.
Friends may call at the Peel Funeral Home in Magna, 8525 West 2700 South, on Tuesday, July 10, 1990 from 6 to 8 p.m. As was Janeen's wish, a brief graveside service will be held Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at the Pleasant Green Cemetery in Magna.
