Mosquitoes and other flying insects make a beeline to your body as long as the weather stays nice. If you're not one to slather on insect repellent before going out, you might like the Bug Baffler.

It is a hooded shirt made of a semi-rigid screening material. It slips on over the head and covers the head, face, torso and arms. Because it is semi-rigid, it stands away from the body, allowing air to pass through. The shirt was invented by Jan Merrill and Phyllis Biron of Goffstown, N.H. They say it is just as useful for gardening as for camping and fishing.

The shirt comes in child and adult sizes and sells for $29.95. For information write Bug Baffler, P.O. Box 444, Goffstown, NH 03045.
