Former Socialist Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou and three of his former Cabinet ministers will go on trial in March on charges stemming from a major embezzlement scandal, the Supreme Court announced Friday.

The three men who are to appear before a special court are former Deputy Premier and Justice Minister Agamemnon Koutsoyorgas, former Transport and Communications Minister George Petsos and former Finance Minister Dimitris Tsovolas.All four were charged with involvement in a financial scandal in which former Bank of Crete President George Koskotas allegedly embezzled more than $200 million from the bank.
