Jordan Knight is the latest member of the New Kids on the Block to run into problems with the law. Knight was charged Thursday with hiring someone to commit assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Knight has been ordered to appear in court Nov. 26 on the charge, which stems from a dispute outside a Boston nightclub in June.

Knight apparently was upset with a heckler, Seamus McHugh, 22, of Boston, and allegedly ordered his bodyguard to hit him, according to court records. McHugh suffered facial cuts and had to be treated at a hospital. The incident was the most recent involving the formerly squeaky-clean New Kids, who are expected to gross $115 million this year.
