Hawaii running back Jamal Farmer left the team, citing differences with the coaching staff.

Farmer said Tuesday he was accused by a coach of badmouthing running back Travis Sims, who replaced him in the second half of Saturday's 28-16 loss at Colorado State.Farmer denies making any disparaging remarks, and said the coach misinterpreted his remarks. He said Sims was his best friend on the team.
