A Washington, Washington County, man accused in the death of a St. George convenience store clerk entered no plea in his arraignment Thursday.

Timothy H. Edwards, 37, faces a first-degree murder charge in the Aug. 16 death of 19-year-old Jill Stoddard Williamson.Authorities say a man assaulted and killed Williamson shortly after she opened the Tri-Mart Store on South Bluff Street in St. George. Her body was found later that morning at a St. George storage unit complex.

Acting Judge Joseph Jackson granted a defense motion for the appointment of a pharmacologist and a psychiatrist or psychologist.
