Salt Lake County Recreation Centers will be haunted by ghosts, goblins, princesses and Ninja Turtles for a series of parties that begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Kearns center.
Children ages 3 through 12 are invited to the Kearns Center social, with a dance to follow at 8 p.m. for those age 13 and older. Admission to the dance is $2, which will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation, and a can of food to be included in Christmas baskets for low-income senior citizens. The Kearns Center is located at 4800 W. 5670 South.Other centers, addresses, party times on Thursday, Oct. 31, and age range of children invited:
- Central City, 615 S. 300 East, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., ages 6-12.
- Copperview, 8446 S. Harrison Ave., 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., ages 5-9.
- East Mill Creek, 2230 Evergreen Ave., 4 to 6 p.m., ages 5-12.
- Kiwanis-Felt, 440 S. 900 East, 3:30 to 6 p.m., ages 5-12.
- Magna, 2941 S. 9150 West, 4 to 6 p.m., ages 3-12.
- Redwood Center, 3060 Lester Way, 6 to 8 p.m., ages 4-12.
