Verda Larsen Johnson, 86, died October 25, 1991 at the Logan Regional Hospital.
She was born June 19, 1905 in Logan, the daughter of Job Anderson and Mary Jane Mathews Larsen. She received her education in the Logan City Schools. She married William Brigham Johnson on July 20, 1923 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on February 25, 1961. He preceded her in death. Verda was an active member of the LDS Church.She is survived by two grandchildren, Sterling W. Johnson and Patricia Bramhall eight great-grandchildren; two sisters and four brothers, Blanche L. Andrus and Lilly Dale L. Demille, both of logan; J. LeMar Larsen and A Glen Larsen, both of Logan; Darryl M. Larsen of Providence, Utah; Reed M. Larsen of Bountiful; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, William Johnson, Jr. and by her sister, Thelma L. Corbridge.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, October 30, 1991, at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 East Center Street, with Bishop Bryce W. Cook conducting. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
