Ken Garff Enterprises has acquired Stephen Wade Ford, Daihatsu and Mitsubishi dealerships located at 5500 S. State.
The Stephen Wade name will be changed to Garff to reflect the new ownership.Garff Enterprises principal Robert Garff said the agreement is one of the largest automobile acquisitions in Utah history, estimated to be in excess of $1 million.
The addition of Wade's three automobile lines brings Garff's existing fleet to a total of 10. Other makers include Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Volvo, Honda, Oldsmobile, Hyundai and Saab.
Under the agreement, Wade will continue as a partner and will be involved in general management and marketing of the dealerships.
