The criminal record of former child actor Adam Rich keeps getting longer. Rich, 22, who played young Nicholas Bradford on the television series "Eight Is Enough," was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly trying to steal a drug-filled syringe from a doctor's tray at a Los Angeles hospital where he had gone complaining of an injured shoulder. Doctors called police who took Rich in and, while booking him, noticed he also was wanted on a $3,500 warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on a drunken driving charge. Rich still faces charges of breaking into a pharmacy in a quest for drugs during the summer and with shoplifting sunglasses and socks a day later. Rich, who already has been through the Betty Ford Center for drug and alcohol addictions, is being held in lieu of $18,500 bond in the latest case.
