The Minnesota North Stars signed goalie Jon Casey to a 4-year, $3.8 million contract. Casey, who has a 6-6-1 record and 2.69 goals-against average, will be paid $600,000 this season, $900,000 next season and $1.1 million in each of the final two years. He'll also receive a $100,000 signing bonus.
