Houston quarterback David Klingler completed his college career by setting 11 NCAA records in Saturday's 52-46 loss to Texas Tech Saturday, giving him a total of 54 records.

Klingler completed 40 of 71 passes for 533 yards and six touchdowns against the Raiders.This season, Klingler completed 278 of of 498 passes for 3,388 yards, 29 touchdown passes and 17 interceptions, finishing his career with 726 completions on 1,262 passes for 9,430 yards.

His records set Saturday are:

- Most passing attempts, two years, 1,141; broke his own record.

- Most completions, two years, 652; old record 626, Ty Detmer, Brigham Young University, 1989-90.

- Most touchdown passes, two years, 83; old record, 77, Jim McMahon, Brigham Young, 1980-81.

- Most career touchdown passes per game, 2.84; old record, 2.78 by Andre Ware, Houston, 1987-89.

- Most plays, two years, 1,294; broke own record.

- Most plays per game, two years; 61.6, broke own record.

- Most yards gained per game, two years, 402.2; old record, Detmer, 1989-90.
