The people at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, Calif., must have a sense of humor. One of the hottest selling items in the museum's gift shop is a T-shirt featuring a photograph of Richard Nixon shaking hands with Elvis Presley in the White House.

The library colorized the original black-and-white news photo and titled it "The President and The King." Library spokesman Kevin Cartwright says the item has spurred gift shop sales ahead of last year's - one of the few retailers around in this recession who can make that boast.You can get the Nixon-Elvis picture on a T-shirt for $14.50, on a button for $2.75 or on a refrigerator magnet for $3.25.
