Jack William Bowen, age 70, died December 27, 1991 of pancreatic cancer.

He was born December 8, 1921 in Brigham City, to Oliver Lee and Minnie Ellen Ridd Bowen. Married Emma Beyrl Ostler, January 15, 1946. He was employed by The Underwood-Olivetti Corp., as a regional manger in Denver before starting his own business Type-A-Line, Inc. in 1962 in Salt Lake City. He retired from Type-A-Line, Inc. in 1979 and settled in Bloomington, Utah, where he served as President of Bloomington Country Club for one year. At the time of his death, he was working for Holiday Resort Realty as a sales associate.He is survived by his wife, Emma Ostler Bowen, of Bloomington; his children, Kathleen Bowen Frost (Loren), Richard Lee Bowen (Nancy), Gregory Ostler Bowen, Ruthann Bulkley Bowen, Gordon Jack Bowen (Stacey), of Salt Lake; Caryl Bowen Angelos (Mark), of Columbus, Ohio; 15 grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 30, 1991, 11 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 300 West St. George Blvd., where friends may call on Sunday evening from 7-8 p.m. and on Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 prior to services. Interment, St. George City Cemetery, under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
