The world's youngest heart transplant recipient, 3-month-old Sarah Kelton, died at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh from pneumonia, a spokeswoman said.

Sarah, who received the heart transplant Sept. 8, died Saturday night after doctors had to disconnect a heart-lung machine that caused a second life-threatening infection, the spokeswoman said.
