Henry Peter Fetzer, age 85, died at home, December 2, 1991.
He was born September 18, 1906, in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Peter and Margaret Baer Fetzer. Married Florence Jackson June 19, 1931, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Henry recieved his architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1932. Recipient of Career Achievement award from the American Institute of Architects, and past President of the Utah Chapter of AIA. Active in the LDS Church as Bishop and other Stake and Ward positions.Survived by his wife, Florence; and children, Norine Smith, Joyce Powell, Barbara Hamblin, Kathryn Fetzer and Pamela Hawker and Grant, Steven, Brian, Lowell and Kent Fetzer; 56 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; loving sister and brothers, Elizabeth Bates, John B. Fetzer, Emil B. Fetzer and Joseph B. Fetzer. Preceded in death by a daughter, Lorna Monson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon, December 6, 1991, in the 10th Ward Chapel, 420 South 800 East. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive, Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel Friday, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
