William Lewis Williams, age 88, died, Dec. 3, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bill was born September 22, 1903, in Taylor, Nebraska, the son of William L. and Jennie James Williams. He married Edna Christiansen May 25, 1946, in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Bill's early years were spent in Alliance, Nebraska where he graduated from Alliance High School. As a teenager he worked for the Burlington Railroad where he acquired his lifelong love of trains. He worked for the Ohio Oil Company in Casper, Wyoming which led to his career with Mountain Fuel Supply Company. Bill retired as Vice President and Treasurer of Mountain Fuel in 1968 after 45 years of service.He is survived by his wife, Edna; and children, Kathleen Vordos and Elliott J. and Stephanie
Williams, Salt Lake City; Robert L. and Sue
Williams, Edward L. and Cindy Williams, Denver; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Family graveside services will be held Friday, December 6, 12 noon, in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Fairfax Road at Virginia, Salt Lake City, Utah.
