"It was about six weeks of solid reading before anything started, just trying to get acquainted with the psychology of the times and that movement." After finally getting in tune with the hedonistic nature of the times, as well as Morrison's, Ryan was relieved that she had missed the '60s. "I kept saying to Oliver, `This is a cautionary tale, isn't it?' "
