San Antonio Spurs guard Rod Strickland broke his right hand in an off-court altercation and will be out of the lineup indefinitely.
Strickland fractured the base of the first metacarpal of is right hand when he got into an altercation at a San Antonio nightspot Friday evening. He will have the hand examined to determine the length and method of treatment.Strickland joins San Antonio forward Terry Cummings on the sideline. Cummings fractured his left hand in a game Jan. 28.
