Clair William Winterton, 75, died April 4, 1991.
Born July 14, 1915 in Charleston, Wasatch County, to Hyrum Shurtliff and Sarah Van Wagoner Winterton. Married Beatrice Smith June 20 in Salt Lake City.Survived by wife, Roosevelt; sons and daughters, Hal Smith Winterton, St. George; Janet W. Dye, Centerville; Lee W. Winterton, Nashville, Tenn.; and June W. Guymon, North Salt Lake; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Van, Omni, and Ralph Deloy Winterton; sisters, Luella Walker, Ruth Huff, Eva Kohkonen, and Stella Lewis. Preceded in death by a brother, Harold and sister, Grace Simmons.
Funeral Monday, 11 a.m., Roosevelt LDS 6th Ward, 447 East Lagoon. Friends may call at the Olpin Hullinger Mortuary, Sunday, 7-9 p.m. and Monday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Burial, Heber City Cemetery 2:30 p.m.
