Gae Terry Thomas, age 63, died May 20, 1991, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1928, at St. George, Utah to Marion L. and Leona Hinton Terry. She married Elwood Adair Thomas December 12, 1946, in Pioche, Nevada. He preceded her in death June 3, 1990. Reared and educated in Enterprise, Utah, Mrs. Thomas lived in Midvale, Utah for 25 years and then retired to Sigurd in 1987. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, enjoyed gardening and flowers and her grandchildren. She loved all little children and was second mother to many.Surviving family members include one son and three daughters: Kevin Elwood Thomas, Midvale; Mrs. Dennis (Marian) West, North Salt Lake; Mrs. Gary (Connie Lee) Zakraisek, Murray; Mrs. Byron (Sharon) Maynard, St. George; 13 grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters, Dean Terry and Carlos Terry, both of Enterprise; Clark Terry, Las Vegas, Nevada; Wayne Terry, Enterprise; Mrs. Clinton (Camilla) Brown, Sigurd, Utah; Mrs. Page (Afton) Cannon, St. George; Mrs. Vance (Alta) Allred, Las Vegas, Nevada; Elva Terry, Pasadena, Calif. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Merlin and Lloyd.
Funeral services will be held at the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, Thursday, May 23, 1991, at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the stake center Thursday, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Enterprise City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
