Charges against singer Whitney Houston and her brother have been dropped because it would be impossible to prove them guilty, Lexington, Ky., prosecutors say.

Houston, 27, and her brother, Michael, 29, were charged in an April 19 fracas that broke out on the 17th floor of the Radisson Plaza Hotel as they arrived for a concert the next night.Houston had been accused of terrorist threatening and fourth-degree assault in complaints filed by Ransom Brotherton, 33, Lexington. Kevin Owens, 24, Austin, Texas, accused the singer's brother of fourth-degree assault in the fight.
