Raymond Searle, 82, passed away June 9, 1991 at his home after a brief illness.

Born October 15, 1908 to Raymond Milton and Zina Batty Searle in Vernal, Utah. Married Hallie Amber Willes May 30, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on September 16, 1990. Active member of the LDS Church and served a mission to England for his church and as a High Priest Group Leader.He loved Diamond Mountain and spent much of his time there. He established Rim Ranch on Diamond Mountain and grew wheat there for almost 40 years.

Survivors: five sons and four daughters, Larry Raymond Searle and Mrs. Dale (Carillon) Ross, both of Vernal; George H. Searle and Miles K. "Con" Searle, both of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Mrs. Ferrel (Lenna) Glines, Layton; Mrs. Bill (Kathleen) Hefley, Salt Lake City; Rodney A. Searle, Seattle, Washington; Brent W. Searle, Evanston, Wyoming; 46 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Carl E. Searle, Santa Clara, Utah; Jay L. Searle, Woodey B. Searle and Milton H. Searle, all of Vernal.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 1991 at 11 a.m. in the Glines Fifth Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Jolley Funeral Home, Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and at the chapel one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Maeser-Fairview Cemetery under direction of the William K. Jolley Funeral Home.
