Eaton-Kenway has laid off 35 manufacturing employees at its Bountiful plant effective Monday, a company spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday.
"It's part of an ongoing drive for us to remain competitive during the recession," said Duanne Struck, marketing and communications manager. The layoffs will have "little impact on our corporate technology strengths," she said.
Founded in 1964, Eaton-Kenway has developed 52 products, mostly storage retrieval vehicles and product storage systems.
