Don O. Blackham, 63, died June 2, 1991. Don was a man who truly lived to serve his fellowman.

He was born June 24, 1927, Moroni, Utah to Thomas Ordell and Myrtle Lovina Bench Blackham. He married Geraldine Sevy, on June 13, 1964 in Salt Lake City. Don's life was full of accomplishments. He graduated from the University of Nevada at Reno and then went on to earn a law degree from the University of Denver Law School. He was an avid fisherman. Besides working as an attorney, Don also was an important part of his community. He was an active member of the Magna Lions Club and was a past District Governor of 28T, the Utah Lions. Don also worked actively, and was past president of the Granger-Hunter Chamber of Commerce.Survived by his wife, Gerry, son, Craig and wife, Gaylene Blackham; daughter, Jill and husband, Roger Fenner; granddaughter, Morgan Niccole Fenner, all of Salt Lake City; brother, Thomas Jack and wife, Lucy Blackham, Rexburg, Idaho; preceded in death by parents and a daughter, Jan.

Don served all and was loved by all.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, Salt Lake Granger Stake Center, 2850 West 3835 South. Friends may call at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the Church 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to: Utah Lion's Eye Bank.
