Entertainer Jimmy Osmond will marry Michelle Larson of Salt Lake City Friday at the LDS Church's Salt Lake Temple.
The private ceremony will be attended by 100 friends and family members and will be followed by a reception at The Lion House that will be open to 1,000 invited guests, a news release in Los Angeles said Tuesday.The honeymoon will be a three-week trip around the world, after which the couple will look for a Los Angeles residence in addition to Osmond's home in Salt Lake City.
Osmond, 28, met Larson, 24, in Salt Lake City, where she worked in the medical field while pursuing a degree at Brigham Young University.
"Michelle is a hometown girl. I met her here, and she's absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me," said Osmond, the youngest of the siblings who include singers Donny and Marie and the Osmond Brothers troupe.
