Shannon Rice, 22, of Salinas, California, died Friday, July 5, 1991 in Salinas, California, as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born November 1, 1968, a daughter of Ralph L. Rice, Jr. and Christina Ramos Rice. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has lived in Provo for many years and also in Salinas.Survivors include her father and stepmother, Ralph L. Jr. and Diane Rice, Provo; her mother, Christina Pitts, Salinas, California; two brothers and two sisters, Daniel E. Rice; Brandon A. Rice; Deana Rice, all of Provo; Lauren E. Pitts, Salinas, California; one nephew, Daniel E. Rice, Jr., Provo; grandparents, Israel Ramos and Maria Ramos, Salinas, California; Ralph L. Rice Sr. and Pauline Rice, St. George.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m. in the Salinas LDS Ward Chapel, 255 East Alvin Drive, Salinas, California, under the direction of the Healey Mortuary in Salinas. Graveside services Saturday, 10 a.m., in the Benjamin Cemetery, under the direction of the Walker Mortuary, Spanish Fork.
