Helen Lucille Taylor Wadsworth, 78, died July 10, 1991 at the U of U Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
She was born March 18, 1913 in Preston, Idaho to Lamoni Rawson and Eliza Lowe Allen Taylor. She married J. Donald Wadsworth on November 18, 1935; he died August 20, 1982. She graduated from Preston High School and received her teaching certificate form Utah State University. She served as captain of the Eliza Kleopfer Camp D.U.P. for two years. She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as Stake YWMIA president, Relief Society teacher and visiting teacher. She had school in Thatcher and Preston, Idaho. She had been employed as a secretary for the poultry department at USU and as a secretary at the US Embassy in Indonesia. Helen had lived in Indonesia, Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia.She is survived by one son and one daughter, Caldon Wadsworth of Phoenix, Arizona and Donna Wadsworth Mooney, Logan; two grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Ross Jay and Zelda Taylor, Provo; and Marjorie Taylor and LaNay E. Felsted, Logan.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, July 13, 1991 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 East Center Street, Logan, with Bishop Robert Spencer conducting. Friends may call at the Mortuary on Saturday, 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
