Maybelle Burton, age 83, died August 11, 1991 in the Park Dale Center.
Born May 18, 1908 in Clear Creek, Utah, daughter of John Arthur Burton and Maybelle Lundgren Burton. Member of the LDS Church. Graduated from Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant, University of Utah, and BYU with a degree in education. An honor student, she was a member of Epsilon Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. In her teaching profession of 40 years she taught at Hiawatha, Kenilworth, Price, Salt Lake, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Clearfield, and Ogden prior to retiring. May loved children, and had a deep appreciation of music and art.Survived by sister, Louise Tatton, Price; brother, Theodore Burton, San Jose, Calif.; nine loving, caring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Graveside services Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., Price City Cemetery. Family will be at Mitchell Chapel Wednesday, one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Park Dale Care Center, Price, Utah 84501.
