Utah State Society Daughters of the American Revolution meets Saturday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. at Utah State Historical Society, 300 Rio Grande, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Hurschell G. Urie, state regent, will train officers and chapter committee chairwomen for the final year of the Centennial Jubilee administration. The Columbus Quincentennial, Junior American Citizens, Children of the American Revolution and award programs for students in all grades of public, private and parochial schools will be presented by various state chairmen.

Organization objectives are historic, educational and patriotic. Women are eligible for membership who can prove direct descent from a man or woman who supported the cause of Independence, 1775-1783.
