Garland Brown, Savage's West Virginia operations manager, has been named general manager of both operations with Emery Thompson named as manager of the new operations.
Savage is a privately held corporation formed in 1946 that presently hauls 25 million tons of coal and other dry bulk materials from 25 terminals across the nation.
