"Scott" Crookston passed away Wednesday, August 28, 1991, at St. Marks Hospital, of causes incident to age.

He was born November 12, 1903 in American Fork, Utah to Jessie and Cora Crookston. He attended high school at American Fork High, where he played basketball. Married Relia Hunter, January 26, 1927. Moved to Salt Lake. Was manager for Salt Lake Knitting Co. Also was a salesman on the road for Salt Lake Knit and Patrick Dry Goods. Later in years he worked for ZCMI in the downtown store. Then moved on to working as a security guard for Continental Bank, where he remained until his retirement at 80 years old.He was Bishop of the Arbor Ward. Very active in the LDS Church.

He is survived by son, Richard and his wife, Beverly Kirk Crookston; seven grandchildren, Shauna Lewis, Rexburg, Idaho; Kirk Crookston, Tahoe City, California; Piper Gispanski, Plano, Texas; Michelle Walker, Tracy Petersen, Broc Crookston, Shayne Rich, all Salt Lake City; 19 great-grandchildren, sister, Myrl Scott, American Fork; brother, Earl Crookston, St. George; niece, Jane Rush, Hacienda Hts., California. Preceded in death by wife, Relia, daughter, Marilyn, brother, Roy Crookston.

Funeral services Tuesday, September 3, 1991 at Anderson Mortuary in American Fork, Utah, 12 noon. Friends may call one hour prior to service. Burial, American Fork Cemetery. We want to thank all the people at Highland Cove Retirment Center for all the nice things they did for "Scott".
