Salt Lake Community College director of continuing education, Bill Laney, has been honored by the Utah Occupational Therapy Association for this contributions and efforts in meeting the emerging needs of occupational therapy in Utah.

The award is given annually to an individual who contributes to the development of occupational therapy in the state. SLCC is currently offerings exploratory courses for those interested in a career as an occupational therapist.
