"An Affirmation of Men," an ecumenical men's retreat looking at male issues in the family and community, is planned for Friday, Oct. 4, through Sunday, Oct. 6, at Sherwood Hills Resort, U.S. 89/91 between Brigham City and Logan.
The retreat is open for men from the 64 congregations of Shared Ministry in Utah, western Wyoming and southern Idaho as well as from the public. Sponsored by the board of deacons of the United Church of Christ Congregational in Ogden in conjunction with Shared Ministry, the retreat will feature presentations, workshops and group discussions led by professional and religious experts.Cost of the three-day event is $85.
