A bullet-scarred teenager who survived an execution-style shooting broke down as city officials presented her with an award for heroism.

Melissia Repass, now 14, called police from a burning bowling alley where four people lay dead and three, including her and her mother, were wounded. All had been shot in the head at point-blank range during a robbery.Repass wept as she tried to read her speech at Wednesday's award ceremony.

Her mother, Stephanie Senac, finished the speech for her.
