Inez Conrriquez Marrufo, age 85, passed away January 14, 1992, in Bountiful, Utah.
Born January 21, 1906, Elbarral, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Justo and Faustina Enrriquez Conrriquez. Married Ycidro Y. Marrufo, October 21, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Marrufo, worked at Kennecott for 45 years and also as a school guard for 19 years. She was a very loving, warm person; a mother to all. She never turned a stranger away. She was married for 63 years. She lived in the Garfield Camp, when she first came to the U.S. She gave many wonderful parties which brought people together, but more than anything, she loved every human being deeply, and wanted to feed them all; she was a very generous woman. She enjoyed singing and making people laugh.Survived by daughter, Virginia Marrufo, California; step-son, Fortunato Marrufo, Salt Lake; four grandchildren, Robert Marrufo, Jose Isidro Marrufo, Gabrielle Marrufo, Daniel Marrufo. Preceded in death by her husband, Dec. 6, 1991.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20th, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 715 West 300 North. Friends may call Sunday evening 6 to 8 p.m., at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, with Holy Rosary at 8 p.m. Sunday. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Deseret Mortuary.
