Stefan Edberg expects his new rivalry with Jim Courier to last for years.

When top-ranked Edberg and No. 2 Courier play Sunday (tonight in the United States) for the Australian Open title, it will be their first meeting since Edberg's overpowering, straight-sets romp against the American in the U.S. Open final on similar hard courts.In their six meetings since 1989, Edberg holds a 4-2 edge.
