Primitive-technology workshops, a kids' fishing derby and a mountain man rendezvous were some of the attractions that brought more than 88,000 people to Utah's Fremont Indian State Park during 1991. "We feel like the park has been discovered," said Park Manager Gordon Topham.

With almost a 28 percent increase in visitors over 1990, the park has helped the growth and economy of southern Utah. About 52 percent of the park's visitors came from outside Utah. Park officials expect an even bigger increase in tourism in 1992.
