Albertsons Inc. will open its newest store at 1900 W. 5651 South on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 8 a.m., bringing to 557 the number of stores the company operates in 17 Western and Southern states.

The 43,586 square-foot store has a bakery, service meat and seafood counter, service delicatessen and a camera/electronics/video department.
