Ada Renee Durkee, 67, of Salt Lake City, died January 7, 1992.
She was born March 1, 1924, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Harold and Marida Johnson Leigh. She attended the University of Utah, was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Married David "Andy" Durkee in 1947; he preceded her in death in 1969.Survived by: Two sons, David (and his wife, Valerie), and Dexter; one daughter, Diana Thamert; two sisters, Maxine Anderson, and Dorothy Lancaster; four grandchildren, Hilary, Torre, Taylor, and Andrew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 610 East So. Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84102. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:30 a.m., at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call one half hour prior to service.
