Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Christel Jytte Christensen, 69, passed away October 19, 1992.
Born June 2, 1923 in Denmark to Andrew and Anna Jacobsen. Married Calvin Christensen May 10, 1960; and was later sealed to him in the Salt Lake Temple. Came to America at the age of six after her parents joined the LDS Church. She became active in the church and held many teaching and leadership positions. She was an accomplished ceramist, which she taught for many years. She enjoyed oil painting and loved to travel. She was a friend to all she met.Survived by husband, West Jordan; son, Paul Minardi and wife, Mary, West Jordan; daughter, Christel Morgan, Twisp, Washington; son, Michael Morgan, Alaska; three stepsons; one stepdaughter; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Friday, October 23, 1992, 11 a.m. in the West Jordan 28th Ward Chapel, 2700 West 7000 South. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m., at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, and Friday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
