William "Bill" Charles Allen, age 68, died October 22, 1992 in the Cottonwood Hospital.
Born April 17, 1924 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a son of Walter Roy and Grace Gibson Allen. Married Marilyn Anderson Butterworth Nov. 3, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was an Elder in the LDS Church working with extraction in genealogy. Enjoyed electronics and photography.Survived by wife, Marilyn of Taylorsville; sons, William Leland Allen, Half Moon Bay, Calif.; George Roy Allen, Hercules, Calif.; stepchildren, Jay Donald Butterworth, Jr., Ridgecrest, Calif.; JackieLynn Stephens, Christine Mendenhall, Tammara Cooper and William Lee Butterworth, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Sparks, Little Rock, Arkansas; Betty Ruth Davis, Santa Clara, Calif.; Mildred (Mimi) Moore, Southern Calif.; brother, Walter Roy, Longview, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville Park 5th Ward, 2603 West 4700 South. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Monday, at the church, 11-11:40 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
