David Grant (Rags) Ingersoll, age 88, died October 24, 1992 in Provo.
He was born December 16, 1903 in American Fork to Joseph and Minnie Brown Ingersoll. Married LaBelle Anderson June 19, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died November 8, 1986. He was an All Conference Center at BYU. He served an LDS Mission to Hawaii. He taught school and coached at American Fork High School, and was a teaching principal at Pleasant Grove High School. He served as American Fork Post Master for 10 years, and as Justice of the Peace for over 16 years. An active member of the LDS Church, he had served as Counselor in the 3rd Ward bishopric.He is survived by a son and a daughter, Mrs. David R. (Maryl) Richards, and Carl Grant and Gene Ingersoll, all American Fork; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorraine Gilchrist, Sandy
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, in the American Fork 8th Ward, 300 North 100 East. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 1st North, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
