Fred Maurice Moore, age 86, died Sunday, October 25, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born in Provo, Utah on August 2, 1906, son of Frederic J. and Mildred Boshard Moore. Married Wanda Richmond Aug. 1, 1932; later divorced. Married Wanda Lambourne January 3, 1946 in Berkeley, California; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Fred graduated from Provo High School and from BYU in 1930 where he was a cheerleader for four years. Attended Stanford University School of Business. Personnel Director ZCMI for many years. Retired vice-president, Strevell-Paterson Hardware Co. President, Salt Lake Exchange Club in 1958. Active in Chamber of Commerce and Jr. Achievement. Member of Cottonwood Club. Active in LDS Church, serving as Sunday School president and High Priest group leader.Survived by wife, Wanda; three sons, Michael (Susan), Longmont, Colo.; James (Deborah), West Jordan; David (Viera), Los Alamos, New Mexico; 15 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Ronald Alan; a grandson,

Stephen; and two sisters, Norma and Mildred.

Funeral services Thursday, October 29, at 12 noon, Millcreek Stake Center, 4220 South Jeannine Drive (420 East). Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday evening 7-9 p.m., and at the ward Thursday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. Burial, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
