Salt Lake City Councilman Paul Hutchison was recently honored by the National Advisory Council of more than 200 NeighborWorks organizations across the country for his commitment to the Poplar Grove area and his contributions to the local advisory councils associated with Salt Lake Neighborhood Housing Services.
The recognition, presented in Denver, was the first award ever given by the NeighborWorks national advisory council since the organization was founded by Congress in 1978."It was such an honor and privilege to be recognized by this distinguished group devoted to improving neighborhoods and housing opportunities. Receiving this award proves that one's involvement is valuable and can make a difference in a community," said Hutchison.
Hutchison represents Salt Lake City Council's district 2, which includes the Fairpark and West Salt Lake communities.
